Adult Chicken Pox Anyone?

I have the distinct pleasure (of the masochistic kind) of having a friend visit me with "Adult Chicken Pox" at work today. Yes that's what they call Herpes Zoster now to avoid being associated with the virus of the toilet seat variety. I must say, I was actually torn between giving him a Mother Teresa hug and just plainly smothering him with a man-portable anti- armor rocket launcher.

My question is: Do we get Chicken Pox from eating too much chicken? Or for that matter, can adults get it from using toilet seats in public restrooms?

Then lastly, should I now ever talk to my friend again for spreading virus in my workstation? Or is this really just a part of some labyrinthine Al- Qaeda plot?

what the heck !!! chicken pox is chicken pox...juvenile or way past menopause. what is important is that you give that friend of yours a good scolding and a piece of your mind (hopefully not the one that is functioning well). why the hell would someone who knows he has adult chicken pox even attempt to visit friends and attend meetings ? doesn't he have any sense of compassion ? why, you do that only if you hate the person you are visiting or have an axe to grind with him. which reminds me of the few times that "old friends from college" would call up or suddenly show up on your doorsteps for no apparent reason. then all of the sudden come up with some requests that they know you are incapable of fulfilling. requests for things of value to you --- say money !!! and to think that i don't have much of it. so to cut to the chase, adult chicken pox anyone ? hell no thanks.
